Unlocking the Zürich Commons / Housing
This Fachsemester probes into Zürich’s ‘housing commons’, and explores how housing commons may be produced, managed, used, maintained, appropriated, and how they manifest themselves in the city. Students actively used the tools and knowledge of the architect – drawing, modeling and writing – to reveal the underlying mechanisms behind these housing commons, and how they helped ease chronic housing shortages in the past, and might continue to do so in the future.
