The shop window can be found south of train station Stadelhofen. Due to this, many tram and bus lines are operating on this street which leads to quite an amount of traffic.
Located in the corner of a building on the ground floor, the shop window is taking part of a long facade. The four upper floors are occupied by retirement apartments. There is a parking lot in front of the store, as well as a broad sidewalk, which creates enough space to observe the shop window up close.
The store is used as a fashion atelier. The large shop window contains a wide display area for goods for sale and offers the spectator an overview of the entire store at one glance. It is well lit and displays all kinds of modern and unique clothes, bags and shoes, which are presented by mannequins. The displayed items are being emphasized by the unique design of the facade, which differs from the rest of the building.
The shop window has a dark metal frame and is formed like a right-angled trapezoid. Due to its particular shape, it slops forwards and continues diagonally around the corner. From this point of view, it looks like a rectangle. It occupies almost the entire height of the ground floor and is set back into a cast concrete facade. The front door of the store is placed around the corner, next to the rectangular section of the shop window. The entire facade of the building is either designed with smooth or line formwork.
