Kalkbreitestrasse 122

Kalkbreitestrasse 122

This shopwindow is located along Kalkbreitestrasse, a serene street within Zurich’s 3rd district, also known as the Wiedikon district. Despite the broad sidewalk, pedestrian traffic remains moderate. Yet, the area thrives with numerous amenities including restaurants, shops, and wellness centers, fostering a vibrant atmosphere.

Positioned on the corner of the building’s facade, the display is separated from the main entrance by a single round-arched window. The building is constructed in the same way as those around it. It stands tall with five floors, primarily designated for residential use, except for the ground level which is occupied by shops.

The storefront houses a practice offering hypnotherapy, coaching, and bodywork services. Foliage strategically placed behind the window ensures privacy while allowing natural light to filter through, preserving a discreet ambiance. Additionally, the attention of passers-by isn’t immediately captured by the shopwindow due to its black frame. What’s more, a balcony just above the window hides it from view, making it even more private.

The facade is neutral with a white stucco finish, complemented by window frames and shutters in varying shades of gray. Noteworthy is the storefront’s rounded edge crafted from meticulously cut stone, adding sophistication to the design of the shopwindow.
