HOKU Honig Kuchen
The HOKU Honig Kuchen shop is situated at Birmensdorferstrasse 107, positioned at the corner of a crossroads between a main road and a side street. Along the main road, various shops line the area, while the side street is predominantly residential with a few restaurants.
The two primary shop windows face the side street but are easily visible from the main road due to the broad sidewalk and street width, creating ample distance between the buildings and enhancing the store’s visibility. The entrance is located at the building’s corner, sheltered by a pronounced semicircle bow window. Two steps lead to the entrance, flanked by curved showcases that seem to welcome customers.
The bow window not only acts as a shelter but also adds a unique touch to the entrance, resembling the entryway of a house.
The store front features a combination of shop windows and storyboards. There are six storyboards, each adorned with drawings that create a joyful and carefree atmosphere. In contrast, there are four windows. Two smaller ones are positioned near the entrance, and the other two are the main shop windows, located on the side facade of the shop, elevated above street level, offering a ledge for potential product displays by vendors. The generous dimensions of these main windows provide a clear view of the entire store interior.
The store specializes in offering kitchen utensils and home decorations. The store display can’t be considered a minimalist style, the displayed products, though numerous, are deliberately arranged, creating a sense of orderly chaos.
