Herrligstrasse 26

My urban entrance is located in the ‘Herrligstrasse 26’ in Kreis 9, Zürich. It is the entrance to a single-family home. When walking down the street of the neighborhood it can’t be spotted immediately, since the entrance isn’t facing the street directly.
It can be accessed via a small forecourt on the right side of the building. The facade with the entrance is slightly moved forward. The doorframe is slightly raised, so that it functions as a single step. The large door consists out of 2 wings. The door is mainly constructed out of wood and is decorated with few mosaic-like glass plates. A lock is centered in the middle of the two doors and there are two doorknobs at about the same height as the lock. Along the facade skirting made out of cement was used.
