The entrance is located at the east side of the Villa Schönberg. The villa is a brick building, built out of mostly red bricks. Black bricks are used for horizontal lines across the façade. The doorframe is made of sandstone. The wooden door is embed- ded in the doorframe. The top of the door is arched, so is the frame around the door. In the middle and on the top of the door is a glass pane which is decorated with ornaments made of iron.
Above the doorframe, there is a gabled canopy made of opaque glass framed by the same type of metal used on the glass panes on the door. The canopy covers the entryway in case of rain or snow.
The entrance is elevated from the ground. Stairs lead up to the door. They are made of stone and are rounded on the edges. The lower stairs get gradually wider. Black railings with ornaments accentuate the form of the stairs.
In front of the villa is a small field with grass and a tree. A gravel path goes around the field and leads to the entrance. To the south of the building is another entrance that looks similar to the depicted entrance. Instead of the stairs a ramp leads to the door. The entryway sticks out of the front façade. It feels more inviting this way. The bright colour of the sandstone is a strong contrast to the reddish colour of the brick façade and makes it the first element you notice when approaching the villa.
