Friedheimstrasse 28

Project by Sophia Humpeler

The entrance is located in the east of circle 11, in a large residential area with a lot of parks and single-family homes. The entrance is located on a quiet, uncrowded street. The building stands out from the surroundings, as its architectural style is modern. It’s clear, simple, almost minimalistic. The house is completely white, but has a different wall structure in the lower hold. the only colour is the brown of the wood panelling between the windows.

In contrast to the surrounding area, where there are many single-family houses, this building is an apartment building with several flats. This can be seen because of the large letterbox, as well as the many different curtains in the windows.

The entrance is quite wide and long. You walk past a small garden, which is wildly overgrown. After the three steps, there is a large plateau that serves as an ideal place to interact with the neighbours. Since this place is also protected from the rain by a glass canopy. Through the glass door and its many small windows on the side, you can have a glimpse into the hallway and it’s big staircase.
