The entrance is located in a side street next to the newly built Europaallee. It is to a small restaurant. As inviting gestures, the two lamps at the sides and the list with the menu are illuminated. This way, especially in the evening, the entrance is accentuated.
The two plants filled with greenery next to the entrance are a further measure to invite guests. It seems they are there to emphasize the entrance given its recessed nature.
The door is covered with dark planks of wood and has a small window at eye level. The doorhandle is made of wrought iron. It complements the rustic appearance of the door.
At the ground level the whole building is covered with reddish-blackish stone plates. The rest of it is painted yellow. This clearly distinguishes the restaurant behind the entrance from the living spaces above.
The entrance area is one step up from street level. The step is covered with a strip of rust-free sheet metal. This strip is applied on the full length of the front facade. Below the window it is interrupted by a ventilation opening.
