The entrance is located rather at the beginning of the Europaallee. It is the entrance of one of the big new buildings (Site D) that are situated in this modern neighborhood near the main station of Zürich. The facade of the office building is covered in white
mar- ble and is designed in a generous grid system. The vertical elements, they become to columns on the ground floor dividing the entrance into two.
The entrance appears in a matt gold color. The col- umns display the contrast of materiality between the entrance and the facade very clearly. They have at the exterior site this white look from the facade, at the interior side they are covered in matt gold.
The entrance has a very special form: Like a funnel, it opens towards the Europaallee. In this corridor they are round lights at both sides. At the main door, where it is quite larger as the corridor, there is at the right side an emergency exit, also kept in gold. The main door is covered with a pattern composed of several four-leafed clovers and has a golden pull handle.
