The entrance is part of the EWZ-Customer Center. It is part of a seven story building. The entrance is split into four equal parts, two of which are doors. The parts are equipped with thin metal rods and don’t visually differenciate from each other. It is all shifted about a meter into the building.
Above the entrace is a glas canopy which is hung by metal rods. On top of the canopy it says ‘Haus der Industriellen Betriebe’ written in 3D letters. To the left and right side of the entrace, everything is symmetrical. There are two collumn like structures, made of stone-plates. After these collumns big windows extend across the rest of the facade until it meets a corner.
In front of the entrance is a wide sidewalk, which feels more like a space, than a sidewalk. At the end of this space, opposite to the entrance are parking lots. The building has a commercial appearance and is therefore not visited by tourists. The people entering and leaving, are mostly business-people with suits and formal clothing. On the inside, you can see them sitting at one of many tables, where a formal consultant greets them.
