The streetcorner of the Wieslergasse 26 belongs to a rather new residential building that is part of a bigger complex with three residential buildings in total. The building is very cubic with its straight lines, the flat roof, the cantilever in the entrance area, the several roof terraces and the oriel. The roof is covered with red gravel and some plants and grasses that like the environment on top of the roof. The building has big windows stretching from the floor to the ceiling, high floors and a simple and plain façade that is painted in a beige color. These are all aspects that contribute to the modern look of the house at Wieslergasse 26.
Compared to its surrounding, the building seems even bigger, more massive and more modern because it is built directly next to an older and smaller building which has lower floors and windows that are two times and sometimes four times smaller than the ones of the house at Wieslergasse 26. These two striking features of the building – the high floors and the big windows – are very specific and characteristic for the Wieslergasse 26 and they cannot be found elsewhere in this street.
