The architecture of this street corner is based on very clear lines, cubic shapes and right angles. This becomes especially clear in the very corner itself, where these lines meet and where they emphasise the before mentioned features by not simply all colliding in the same spot, but forming protrusions and shelters of sorts.
The materiality of the building is mostly composed of concrete, but also glass and what appears to be some kind of sheet metal. The stairs by the entrance are made of stone.
The facade is made completely of exposed concrete in a grey to light brown color, giving the entire building a calm but also utilitarian and grey look in combination with the quite large sheet metal framings of the windows and the windows themselves.
On ground floor level, the entire facade is made of glass, the only exception being the grey framings.
In contrast to the main colours of the building stands the orange MIGROS sign, which catches the eye instantly and very clearly distinguishes itself from the facade. It is also the main indicator to the functionality of this building; it houses a convenience store. The third and fourth floor are on the other hand probably occupied by flats.
