Limmattalstrasse / Limmattalstrasse

Project by Jonathan Troger

Limmatstrasse 352 is a street corner situated between the Limmatstrasse and a small walking path, which connects the Limmatsstrasse with the Bombachstrasse. In east direction of the corner there is an entrance leading to an underground car park and in direction west the buildings spreads for about 85 meters.

The building has balconies on three levels faced to the street, 8 which are closed nearly invisible glass windows and a quite large 4 roof-top terrace that is protected from the sun through sun-sails and decorated with some plants. The building has a white mineral façade. The balconies can be closed with a green curtain and the windows are hidden behind green sun blinds. On top of the corner there is a maroon sign with the number forty-eight written on it.

Limmatstrasse 352 accommodates a driving school and an aikido birankai studio, which is a Japanese martial art. The rest of the building is made up of flats ideal for families, since the building is close to many shops, offices and schools.
