The street corner marks not only the beginning of a longer chain of houses, but also the beginning of a residential quarter behind the block and behind the street. Its modern design is immediately striking. The façade consists of light silver-grey panels that are arranged closely together. Above these panels the lamellas are particularly striking. They are clamped between the floors in slightly shifted places and always in a wider area. In addition, they are all set at the same angle and therefore very uniform.
Thus the façade alternates between flat grey panels directly on the wall, narrow high windows at different positions on the façade and the slats placed above them. It thus appears simple and uniform. The lamellas and the windows are often on top of each other but by moving them on different floors the facade looks again very interesting and moving.
The complete outer shell follows a metallic materiality. The panels and the lamellas are made of the same light silvery metal. The sheet metal is nevertheless rather matt. Between the floors there is a rail to which the lamellas are attached. It has the same colour and material.
On the side facing away from the road there is a terrace on each floor. Which is partly covered by the slats. The block extends in a slight zigzag shape along the street and forms a boundary to the residential quarter behind it. The façade appears smooth without balconies or similar projections. The foot of the building forms a concrete floor which also forms the entrances.
