The balconies are located at a street corner in Kreis 8 in Zürich. The house is colored with a pastel yellow and a shade of grey. Each of the three balconies is linked with an apartment and is only accessible for the residents.
The house separates itself form the street with plants. It stands out of its surrounding due to the colors of the facade and the exceptional geometry. Although, it does fit into the green, calm and urban neighborhood.
The balconies are an external part of the building and are perfectly sized to drink and eat outside. The materiality of the fine railings is steel and allows the balcony to open up to the public. Except of the ground floor every story of the building has his own balcony. They are half-circular shaped. The appar- tement on second floor looks abandoned and empty, except of a satellite dish on the balcony. There is little connection between interior and exterior due to narrow windows in proportions of balcony size.
