The street corner is found inside of the district called Wiedikon, in Kreis 3 of Zürich. The building is presumably old since the corner we are looking at measures 110 degrees, what is unusual to do in present time. The construct, which was used as a forge back in the days, stands on a light grey socket which is covered with several same-sized plates made out of natural stones. In addition to that, you`ll find also many shops and little stores located inside the massive socket. In contrast to the cold base stands the warm light brown painted facade fully developed with slim balconies.
The balconies, as mentioned previously, are constructed in help by cantilevers which exceed the alignment of the facade for about 50 to 60 cm. Therefore the space is arguably pretty narrow but in exchange for that they are constructed more generous longways. The railing which is attached to the cantilevers is made out of wrought iron or rusted brass, since this was a usual way to make them in the past.
The outside-spaces can be entered by two window-doors. One is located at the very left of the balcony, where perhaps, when you take a look at the larger sized door, could be the living room behind. The other one is located at the very right peak of the facade. Inasmuch as it`s very narrow, it could be that behind these walls is a individual room who leads outside through this window.
When standing outside your view falls on a great traffic place where several streets cross each other. The said place is mainly made out of asphalt without any major greening.
