The balcony is a quite large balcony which is facing towards the street. There is a certain distance between the building/ balcony and the street. This distance is set deliberately. The size of the balcony, the solar orientation that faces north-east and the distance to the street show that it wasn’t built for normal people. It was important to show off. The people who used this building didn’t want to benefit from the sun or anything else. They wanted to play off the ordinary people that walked by the street.
The balcony additionally works as a canopy for the entrance. The balcony stands on three columns those are needed to support the heavy balcony. The Balcony and the rest of the building is completely made out of stone. The Balcony has two connecting doors to the 1st floor of the building. The Ground floor which partly is covered by the Balcony is covered with gravel. And directly behind the columns we can find grass and some small trees facing to the street.
Regarding the Interior of the Building, we can find wooden floors in the whole building. Behind the two doors that connect the building and the balcony we find a big living room with wooden floors. This room connects the north and south side of the Building. This is why this room gains much day light from the south side.
